In Oliena, time seems to stand still.
An enchanted place, offering a glimpse of Sardinia at its most authentic, with its warm hospitality and rich flavours.
Every glass holds the flavours of the island’s heritage, where history is woven into the landscape.
Oliena, a gem nestled among the “Sardinian Dolomites” of the Supramonte, is a village that embraces Sardinia’s rich food and wine traditions and its artisanal wisdom.
Here, wines tell ancient stories; vineyards and olive groves have shaped the landscape for centuries.
The village, guardian of ancient recipes handed down from generation to generation, offers an authentic culinary experience that pairs perfectly with local wines.
The Oliena area is characterised by a temperate climate. Winters are cold with limited rainfall, while summers are hot and breezy.
The limestone massif of Mount Corrasi and the proximity to the sea create significant day-night temperature variations. These conditions favour the synthesis of aromatic compounds and polyphenols, enhancing grape and wine quality. The territory is defined by four different geological substrates: basalt, granite, schist and limestone. The soil consists of a calcareous component and decomposed granite.
Our wines tell the story of their land.
We make simple wines.
Eighty percent of our production is vinified in stainless steel to preserve the true character of the grape variety.
We let each varietal express itself, with minimal technological intervention.
