It all began with our grandfather’s vineyards, continued with the wine our father Salvatore made and shared with friends, and culminated in academic studies in Viticulture and Oenology at the University of San Michele all’Adige in Trento.
Like Gabriele D’Annunzio, Antonio is captivated by Nepente di Oliena, a grape variety that finds here its most authentic and distinctive expression.
He is the one who transforms every berry into emotion, every cluster into an unforgettable sip.
Salvatore, known as Tore, has a deep love for vine cultivation, a practice brought to Oliena centuries ago.
Every gesture is an act of devotion to the land that the Puddu family has cared for over three generations.
Iolei cultivates 8 hectares of vineyards, 4 of which are directly managed.
The vineyards are located in the municipality of Oliena and its surroundings, facing southeast at an altitude ranging from 180 to 650 meters above sea level.
Sara represents the future of Iolei: deeply rooted in the territory, yet boldly looking ahead.
After earning a degree in oenology and gaining experience in Italy and abroad, she joined the family business, immediately bringing new ideas through an open and contemporary approach.
She is not afraid to explore uncharted paths and experiment with new methods.
Chiara combines an academic background in economics with a deep passion for agriculture and viticulture.
Guided by a modern entrepreneurial vision, solid expertise, and a strong commitment to promoting her homeland, she brings these qualities to every aspect of her work within the winery.
Oliena is a land Chiara strives to protect with care and devotion.
Visitors are welcomed by Luisella’s smile, wife of Salvatore and mother of Antonio, Chiara and Sara.
With a glass in hand and local delicacies at the ready, she guides guests through the flavors of Oliena and the warmth of authentic Sardinian hospitality, thoughtfully pairing each wine with carefully selected local products.
Every sip, every taste, tells the magic of a unique land.
Every Iolei wine tells a unique story.
Each label features a unique image, chosen to reflect the emotions evoked by every sip.
Simona, Antonio’s wife, selects the artworks with a sensitive and attentive eye, ensuring they perfectly represent Iolei’s vision.
Unique pieces that embody the winery’s values: craftsmanship, uniqueness, territory and an innovative approach.
